“When skin concerns arise, it is rarely enough to look only at the surface of the skin. I am curious about the whole picture: How do you sleep? How do you eat? Are you experiencing stress? How do you care for your skin in everyday life?”

What is your educational background, and how have your education and experience influenced the treatments you specialize in today?

I qualified as a cosmetologist in 2016, but I already had many years of experience in the spa industry before that. Working with people, wellbeing, and skin is not just my job – it is my great passion and something that also plays a big role in my life outside the clinic.

For me, it is incredibly rewarding to be able to improve the quality of the skin while also creating a space where the client can find calm and mental well-being in the middle of a busy and often stressful everyday life. That combination – results for the skin and peace of mind – is in reality the greatest gift I can pass on in my work.

What does a holistic treatment mean to you, and what does it concretely involve in your work?

If you ask me, skincare should always be holistic. The skin is our largest organ – but also a kind of messenger and a reflection of how we truly feel.

When skin issues arise, it is rarely enough to only look at the surface of the skin. I am curious about the whole picture: How do you sleep? How do you eat? Do you experience stress? How do you care for your skin in everyday life?

In my treatments, results are important, but the experience is too. I want my clients to leave with a sense of deep calm, well-being, and balance – where both skin, body, and mind have been cared for.

What defines your personal signature as a spa expert – and where does your approach differ the most from what you typically find in the industry?

For many, the beauty industry can seem superficial, but for me it is anything but. Beauty is not only about how we look – but to a large extent about how we feel about ourselves, and what it feels like to be in our own skin.

Skin concerns such as acne, eczema, rosacea, or early signs of aging can affect far more than just appearance. They can also affect our self-confidence and mental well-being. That is why my work feels meaningful every single day – because it is about helping people feel better in their own skin.

A treatment can be technically effective – but what is it that elevates it into something almost magical and memorable for the client?

Presence. When a person truly feels seen, heard, and cared for, something special happens. That is often where a treatment goes from being merely effective to becoming an experience that is remembered.

Which ingredients and products resonate most strongly with you?

I always choose products with great care and based on the individual client’s needs. For me, it is important to work with bioactive formulations and ingredients that are evidence-based and proven effective.

It gives both me and the client confidence that what we are working with truly makes a real difference for the skin.

How do you help prepare your clients for at-home skincare?

Although a treatment can make a big difference, it is actually what happens at home between treatments that creates the biggest and most long-lasting results.

I usually say that 80–90% of the results come from daily routines. Therefore, I always review the client’s skincare routine continuously and adjust it as needed. My goal is for my clients to feel safe, informed, and well-equipped – both when it comes to skincare, lifestyle, and sometimes also diet.

In that way, the treatment is not just a moment of well-being, but part of a longer journey toward healthier skin.
