"It is essential for me to treat every client from a holistic perspective. During my many years as a full-time hairdresser, I experienced how close you become to your clients and how important that relationship is. I bring that experience with me into my treatments today."

What is your educational background, and how have your education and experience influenced the treatments you specialize in today?

I originally trained as a hairdresser and have worked in the industry for more than 30 years. For a period of eight years, I lived in California, where I worked professionally with both hair and makeup, giving me an international perspective on beauty and treatments. In 2011, I chose to further my education and train as a skin therapist. It opened up a new dimension in my work, allowing me to focus more on the whole person—not only their outward appearance, but also the health of their skin and the sense of calm and wellbeing that treatments can create.

What does a holistic treatment mean to you, and what does it involve in your work in practice? How do you ensure that your clients experience a truly holistic journey, where body, mind, and senses come together as one?

It is absolutely essential to me to treat all of my clients from a holistic perspective. During my many years as a full-time hairdresser, I experienced just how close you become to your clients and how important that relationship can be. I bring that experience with me into every treatment I provide today. I place great importance on listening to and understanding each client—their needs, lifestyle, daily routines, and, most importantly, who they are as a person. With that understanding, I can create a treatment that not only cares for the skin, but also brings calm, presence, and a feeling of being seen and understood.

What defines your personal signature as a spa expert, and how does your approach differ most significantly from what is typically seen in the industry?

I would describe my approach in three words: calm, presence, and understanding. I work very intuitively and take the time to truly meet each client where they are. For me, it’s not only about the technique of the treatment, but about the energy, atmosphere, and trust that emerges in the room.

A treatment can be technically effective, but in your opinion, what is it that elevates it into something almost magical and truly memorable for the client?

For me, the magic arises in the calm and in the genuine connection between the client and myself as a practitioner. When a treatment becomes a space for depth, presence, and indulgence, it creates a meaningful experience that reaches far beyond the treatment itself. It is in that connection that the client can truly let go and feel both cared for and understood.

Which ingredients and products resonate most strongly with you, and what do you prioritize when selecting products for your treatments?

I always select products based on each client’s skin type and its current condition, regardless of which treatment has been booked. It is important to me that each treatment is adapted in the moment, so the skin receives exactly what it needs. Among my personal favorites are Precious Brilliant Night Facial Balm, Rosehip Repair Rescue Facial Oil, Formula B Serum, and PRO:Lab Retinol Refirme Face Cream, all of which effectively support the skin’s quality and balance.

How do you guide your clients in their home care routine so that the effects of the treatment don’t stop when they leave the room, but instead become an integrated part of their everyday life?

First and foremost, it is important for me to tell my clients that I am not the one creating miracles—the results come from their own daily skincare routine. First and foremost, it is important for me to tell my clients that I am not the one creating miracles—the results come from their own daily skincare routine. When at-home care works in daily life, we can together achieve the best and most long-lasting results.
